27.12.2025 «Connection e.V.» prepared a thematic submission to contribute to the thematic report of the UN OHCHR to the UN Human Rights Council on «Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping, stigmatization, discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against persons, based on religion or belief» which will be presented at the UN in Geneva in March 2026.

Connection e.V. reports on conscientious objection to military service for the UN UPR of Singapore and Latvia

10.10.2025 • «Connection e.V.» submitted two reports for the upcoming 52nd session of the UN UPR. All UN Members States have to go under review periodically at the UN Human Rights Council. This review is a political procedure where other Member States can make recommendations to the State under review which has the possibility to accept them and commit to fulfil them and report on them or refuse them.

SEPTEMBER • Connection e.V. reports to the UN CESCR on the situation of human rights in Russia

26.12.2025 • On September 10th the international advocacy coordinator at «Connection e.V.» participated in a briefing with the members of the UN CESCR to highlight some human rights violations related to forced conscription and conscientious objection to military service in the Russian Federation.
